Submerged: A Sapphire Nuzlocke RETURNS!

That moment when you go on a Yearly hiatus...I momentarily got lost on the path of life is all...

No, but honestly I owe you all an explanation as to where I've been and why I haven't put any updates out for the past year. Long story short, I went through a long period of time after Chapter 8 --essentially the entire summer of 2016 -- with serious artist's block. When I finally got over it in the fall, I wanted to focus on college, which was becoming increasingly difficult as I had to balance a 18 hr/wk job and constantly considering changing my major. During that time, I wanted to to focus on new things temporarily as an artist, such as practice with copics, graphic design, environment work, and building a new webcomic from the ground up, SPARK. 

So for all of the fans and readers out there...everyone who's been interested in my story and been looking forward to Submerged, all I can do is profusely apologize...I did not intend for the break to be this long, but I did need it to progress as a person and as an artist. Since January though, all I've wanted to do since then is work on the comic, but it took a long while to get back into the swing of how I used to draw it. I've finally gotten the hang of it again, though.

So with that, I want to announce a return of Submerged, the long awaited Chapter 9. Following that, there will most likely be a Q and A with the cast and a RECAP CHAPTER, so you guys don't have to keep re-reading. I've planned out an update schedule for the rest of the year and am EXTREMELY confident I can get updates out bi-monthly (if not a little faster). 

TLDR; SUBMERGED is NOT CANCELED and WILL RETURN IN 2018. Thank you all for your support so far!
